ok, this is the 2nd time i type this stupid post. if u happen to missing again!! u see la.. muahaha..
say about the important things la. ok, i was having insomnia yest. slept at dunno what time then kept turning and my mum's special sleeping sound was seriously annoyed me. but i woke up at 6am for work still. so it's kinda tired for the whole day.
oh, the ward is not cancer ward but internal medicine department (DIM). deals with infectious diseases, kinda like that la. saw one isolation room which is contact precaution. meaning need to wear apron, mark, gloves to go in. it's like gonna go army like that de.
we were waiting for the person in charged for half and hour, i think. then they finally came. before that we were helpless! we got 3 clinical instructors (CI), 2 are on CI course, one is senior CI. then one lecturer in charge. no bad la. they all very friendly.
today was mainly orientation, so we didn't do any procedures yet. didnt expect that they prepared 'treasure hunt' and some kinda games for us. can u imagine? treasure hunt in the ward?? just for ur info, the ward is 83 beded! so is considered a big ward. then we had to go disposal room to find bookmark?? har? OMG. even male and female toilet.. and the group before us hid the bookmarks until we couldn't find any!! 20 minutes to find 12 bookmarks and answer 20 plus questions! we're year 1 sem 2 ONLY, k? haha..
well, it's sort of different experience in the new ward. i'm in charged of 6 patients for the next 2 weeks plus 2 days. it's female cubicle. all ah ma lo. then i saw 3 speak teo chew and 2 hokkien!! how am i going to speak to them? i dun know anything about teo chew. cham.. nvm la, see how tmr lo. it's medical ward, so patients normally stay longer.
oh, still got assignment to do during the attachment. everyday has to update patient's info (at least 3 patients) in the assignment file. this is only the beginning!! guess still got case study as every attachment we have to do so. they wont treat us so nice de. hehe..
k la, i shall stop here. my mum is here again. lol~ see ya tmr IF i'm not so tired. haha... bye..
