i slept from yest 9pm till 12 noon today. geng right? can imagine how tired i was for the past 3 days. my friends also like that, got one even sleep at 6pm. muahaha.. another thing is that i'm still feeling tired now. dun be too surprised. :p
continue from yesterday's posting:
well, i really learned a lot for the past 2 days. medical ward is really better for us as student nurse. as we can perform our basic nursing care for client.
what i did huh?
mm.. early in the morning, bed-making, then give gurgle to those bed-ridden. then passing report. well, talk about passing report, i really dun understand what they are talking about. all short forms. hey, cant u all lower down the standard? lol~ but i know cannot cos staff nurses are really busy. next time i'll be like that also. cham~
like that where got time to get bf? everyday when i reach home then sleep till the next day duty time. wuwu~~ i dun want patient to be my bf la. all nenek and datuk only.
after passing report, then is showering patients, or bring them to shower, or sponging them. [rmb 12 persons in a room] then serving breakfast. for those need oral feeding, feed them la. i fed one patient yest. that was the 1st time i fed patient ler. quite interesting. then i asked were the food nice (in hokkien) patient shake head. hehe.. cos i also didnt know how the food taste ma.
after that do whatever things that need to do la. e.g. parameters taking. patient wanna pang sai then help them la. haha.. now only i know stool can be so smelly and watery!! bahaha.. i nearly vomited in front of patient. :p cannot blame me also ma.
finally performed NG tube feeding. though learned it last sem but didnt perform when last attachment. so lo.. didnt do it perfectly, but still ok la. gonna do dressing soon. actually had to do it yest. but the case was too complicated then we're not supposed to do as client's relatives complained about it. so lo.. cos we dun have any experience in dressing ma. so have to wait for other small cases la. so scary la, the wound i saw that day. feel pain for that patient too.. lol~
prefer morning shift as more things to do. but sometimes lost also cos i dun really know what case is the patient ma. scared do wrong things. language barrier also one problem. my hokkien not say v gd ma. tamil also dunno. so lo..
i'm so sleepy now. i think that's all about my past two days experience la.
oh man, i seriously love Xmas! even Xmas passed. but i'm listening to Xmas songs. hehe.. weido right? Xmas Songs
later maybe acc mom for her cousin's daughter's birthday. also dunno who is that. lol~ but wanna go church la. sigh~ cham..
