Yes, finally I'm here to blog and its my annual leave this week! Yahoo! It's the fourth day now. I'm slacking everyday and I like it so much. Feeling drowsy every moment. I dun mind marry to my bed and spend the rest of my life with it. lol.. Thank God my AL was approved! Really damn super sad to spend 21st birthday working in the ward changing diapers and stuff ;p Pardon me.

I supposed to go back hometown but due to some unforseen circumstance like.. I too lazy and not many people there. So I decided to stay here and relaz my one week. True enough I was so slack!!

Wanted to go rebond my hair today but my butt was stick to the bed and chair. I cant move ;p wad an excuse.

I had a dream..

i had a dream in dreamland last night. Many many random dreams formed a dream. I could not recall all. However, only particular images.

Recently I had dreams at night frequently and my mother said I even sleep talk and randomly kicking sometimes. Hahaha!! Most of the time I couldn't recall but today the dream was kinda real and it kept stirring in my head.

And I cried ...
When I was conscious enough.

After so many years, I still can't get rid of this thing in my mind. On and off it appears in my dreams and my thoughts. Haunting me.. I hate it but I can't control and I once loved it so much. The worst thing was.. It seemed like real.

Real yet I know It will never be that real.

I deserve all these.

Argh.. Blogspot is crazy. I couldnt upload any pic. I finally transfer some pic from handphone and now blogspot is not working.. Disappointed.

I love day off!!! If only I dun have to work and I still got money on pay day!! *Fat fat hope*

Dumb dumb.

Tmr gonna back to work for 5 days then got my rest day on Sunday! Yeah. Finally on the Sunday :) Then I can go church finally!! I'm so lost touch with church ever since I started work. Everyday work - home - sleep - net - work - home - work - home.

Hi people!! Obviously I'm off tmr, that's why I'm here to type a post. Taken few pics but stuck inside my phone and I've got no idea how to transfer them out cos I'm just too lazy to figure out my new phone. Currently I got no songs, no nothing inside. K, anyway I dun listen to music that often too la. Where to get nice songs?

Am tired now again.

As usual I slept on the bus on my way home. Then there was this guy kept looking at me la. So wad? Never see nurse sleep on the bus is it? lol.. I dun care then I con't to sleep. Hahaha..

1 year anniversary on 15 June. Didn't have big big celebration just a humble meal. We're so drain out from work and study. More to come :)

Work wise.. Still as stressful. Haven completed my competency checklist. Why did i ever want to be a SN? I'm lost now. Thinking of quitting after 3 years. Just switch to clinic or wad. At least not so stressful. Thinking of getting married and be a housewife.. How silly. Not so easy too huh. 3 years not too long right. If only everyone is nice..

Good to talk to old friends. Miss them so much. I believe its a matter of distance not the heart distance.. Really dun know when is the next time seeing you guys.. Sigh. I plan to go Aus next yr prob Dec to find Yann, anyone on??

YAhoo...!! Tmr is my day off after 5 days. Bloody idiot working on weekends.. But one thing good about weekend is that not so much changes like weekdays, most of the departments close on weekend which is good. Hahaha..

I passed my blood taking and cannulation skill, now its time for me to practise to my patients! Finished all the blood, left 2 more cannulation attempts. I just love it, love it!! When I see the blood came out, tell u, it seriously excite me!! I love it, love it. Hahaha!! I even set a cannula on my collegue ;p Then I realised he is my fren's bf. lol....

Tmr is my one year anniversary :)

And my hp spoiled. Getting new one. LG viewty since got promotion now. Pinky :)

Tmr will be my last day in pathology lab having lectures and stuff. Can I stay there forever? Dun want go back ward facing the reality. Sigh.. Tmr will be getting my name chomp (dunno how it spells), mask test and flu jab! I'm so excited over the jab can!! haha.. lol :p

Anyway, i had fun time with Michelle and Wei Lin dining out and played in arcade!!! My right hand so pain la after throwing the balls. hahaha..

I'm so lazy to update can! I think when I really start work proper this blog might as well delete or wad but I think keep it hang there better la. So tired after work everyday. Don't feel like doing anything when I get home.. No life!!

Due to H1N1 influenza, the training department wants to finish all of our lectures before throwing us back to ward. So thanks to the piggy(kk, I know nothing to do with pigs), I got more lectures!! I love lectures!! However, sooner or later I'll still need to face the truth and get back to ward, see my bosses. Haha..

I'm going back where I come from..

Yes, I got posted to my old attachment ward, praise God, that was my first choice. And I pray as well I got to A side, cos the staffs there are much more warmer, much more united. Tmr I'll be going back the ward for the first time as a staff employed there.

So many competency tests and assessments await. Stress.. A side pls!! At least the staff there are ncier.. Ah. Butterflies in my tummy. Maybe I'll love renal cases more. Who knows.

The swine flu is making hospital up side down turning.. Starts tmr we've to measure own temperature once per day before starting work. If got fever must die die go back to hospital staff clinic cos of contact tracing. Scary sia. Everyday read the news and the WHO alert sign... No longer at the safe green zone.. :(

My sis told me that the companies that produce masks are earning much and the stock index is sky high. Lol~ All thanks to the PIGs.

Hey hey, so 2 days at work over. Basically first week mostly lectures. Then mid of next week will go to assigned ward or area. Alamak, so nervous can. I wanna go Operating Theater!!

Sitting at Pathology Lab everyday makes my butt hurts can! Need more meat on my butt seriously. I need cushion!! And something I'm really proud of myself is that I didn't sleep this time!! Haha.. Hopefully this goes on till the end of my foundation program.

And I couldnt recall wad is PEG!! Can u imagine?? So disappointed with myself can. Idiot.

My First Cooking Experience

It all started with the idea of buying a non-stick frying pan.

Today, I decided to cook for my family. Yes, cook. It's not delusion or hallucination. I know it may sound a bit scary. I know.

I told my sister I wanted to cook and she said:

(Think, think.. .. ..)

"Dun want la, we go out and eat ok?"

I told my mum. She said:

"Dun cook hor, I tell you. No No nO.. No way"

You guys know I'm as stubborn as a cow. So of course once I decide on something, I must die die go and do it. So today, I bought some ingredients with company of my bf who is my teacher as well. And this guy very "nice", He LOST my recipe which I printed out from the net.. Left it at the shopping basket @.@

Then he come and tell me it's all in the brain.

True enough, he wrote me a new recipe using what we bought.

Man, kitchen too hot, shud have a fan there and maybe radio!!.. Haha.. =D And my mother la, she kept disturbing when I was working hard on my masterpiece. Say this say that.. Pekcek.

Well, afterall it was quite fun experience cooking when FREE!! .. Haha..

I admit my dishes not very nice but can eat la huh, not raw and it's cooked. Just a little bit salty for the fish and I put too much water in the vege. HAAHAHa.. It's FIRST TIME k!!

In the end, I only cooked for myself and my uncle.. My mum dare not to eat at all. She scared Geylang Serai Rojak incident.. wth.

And I wonder will there be second chance. Xoxo.. =P

Next week starting work, so this week basically running up and down for my work permit and meeting HR. Wasted half of my Wednesday. I dun understand why MOM is at chinatown, so ulu. Well, after submitting our documents, they said need to wait 3 hours upon receiving my work pass. 3 hours!! I went to have brunch then walked around aimlessly. Got myself a frying pan!! Yes, a frying pan. haha.. lol.

The thing is that I paid for my work permit.. :(

And why so many people apply for PR? I made appointment till July now.. From now to July all full. Then from Aug onwards all full again.. No PR no CRF..

The other thing was my graduation stuff.. Booking attire, confirm attendance and all. It's on 26 May 10am :)

Yesterday was Maestro FC team's (my bf's football team)
friendly kick vs Raven FC.
Yes, guys and football always together!!

I was there to support.

Anyway, they're fun people to join with
just the 2 hours sitting at the benches doing nothing was quite tough for me..

Another attack of fever on Thurs,
and i seriously dunno why!
Neck strained as well.
Planned to go out for picnic and in the end I spoiled it.

Welcome to my little new url bloggie =) Kinda sick of my old one.. hoho..

Lesson learned #1 : Dun care people's business too much. Listen and forget. Amnesia is good sometimes.

My business. Anyway, I've gotten my Staff Nurse uniforms (XXS) and shoes (Size 4) today which means the day I become a real SN is coming nearer and even NearER!! Finally got pants to wear =) Oh gosh, kinda stress already. I can't recall a lot of skills and knowledge even simplest ones. Holiday is too slack. Hehe..

Yesterday movie marathon :

First one was in plan and obviously second one was an accident out of boredom. Recommended show is shopaholic even if u're not a shopaholic! Great one after my last movie with the girls =) Just 5 mins before the second movie, I was finding our tickets, and ...

Yeah.. I'm alive again after 3 days of torture by stupid fever and headache. Praise the Lord!! The jumping talkative crazy pauling is back!!

My mum said,

"I rather u go out early in the morning then come back late than sick, staying at home whole day."

Uh huh, true also. For 3 days I never stepped out of the house.. Not even a step. Lol.

Well, well, I'm fine again but day 4 I'm still at home. What's wrong with me? Become zai2 nv liao la. Today supposed to have Sentosa outing / Methodist walk, well both energy consuming. So I ended up at home slacking.

Wanted to consult a doc today if the temperature still spike, thank God it didn't. Sai sai cooked me breakfast and honey water all the way from woodlands XD with a pot of roses =)

Last Friday went back hometown Bp, yes again! This time round purpose was to meet Wendy before her term started and we had minced meat noodles XD

On the Sat night, 7-11 outing @ ah fei's steamboat and indeed photos were deceptive enough ;p

I was so hungry.. but still sensitive to the cam ;p

Hie there! I'm back from Redang trip! I'm in safe hands, no worries =)

1 March Sunday
It's a rainy day. Made our way from Bugis to Larkin then to Kuala Terengganu(KT). Silas(Sai Sai) made Spaghetti for dinner and we had it while waiting for bus to Mas custom in Sg custom. Cool leh? Hahaz.. Ticket hunting when we reached Larkin. Man, the ticket so ex, RM56 per person from JB to KT.
While waiting for the bus, we had another dinner @ the malay shop. WoW! Good food Yum yum!! Then we boarded 8.30pm bus.

Imagine 8 hours journey.. So died. KKKL well known for comfortable seats so its fine just the baby's crying sound was killing.

2 March Monday
We reached KT super early, 4.30am! Washed up in the public toilet then lazing around. Raining again. Contacted the person and we got ourselves in the rest house just opposite bus station. Waited and waited... The boat ride delayed cos of the heavy rain, from sea boat changed to ferry.

Oh man, gosh, the ferry ride was so scary, i was terrified, kept praying and praying, thank God we are safe! Know wad, after the ferry we stopped at somewhere for another sea boat ride to the resort. Alamak!! This time round I couldn't stand and i cried.. Hahah.. Super big wave cos of the heavy rain.

Finally we reached resort after 2 hours plus terrified journey on sea. We checked in..

Tip#1 - bring your own breads to feed those fish

After snorkeling, free & easy time. We had tea break then we walked around, enjoying the breeze, played kite, photo taking, explore around.

Had BBQ dinner, played some board games, devotion then slumber time.

The fish at deep sea are much more attractive then those in Marine Park! Oh man, thanks to the resort people guided us and showed us interesting treasure of the sea (he picked from sea cucumber, a nemo hide in coral, star fish, sea abalone let us touch and hold, xoxo!!) Early in the morning I stepped out of the house. Oh man, I was so tired. First time in the holidays go out so early (8am).. Lol. Youth fellowship event - Kite Flying @ Marina Barrage. The idea was great =) It was decades since I last flied a kite. Eh.. nono, i think I never got it up to the sky.

And I did it today =)

We're supposed to make our own kite and it turned out quite nice. Just it doesn't fly... haha..

Thanks people for invited me to the outing. Enjoyed it. Seriously not easy to make a kite and make it fly. Our Creator is just so smart!! He knows how to make us in such a way we can fly high in the areas that He wants and control us by that string, He knows when to pull and when to fly us high. At times we feel that the string isn't there, we thought we're the one that control our own life. After all, He is the one.. Lets fly high for our Creator!! XD

Out with Crusaders for movie and dinner. All together 23 of us, can u imagine how big group we were?! The movie was 5.10pm and the organizer asked us to meet 2 hours beforehand cos he knew all of us would be late. Well done and we were an hour ahead of timing ;p

It's better than wad i expected. I thought it'd be some boring show cos normally awards winning movie.. boring. but well, this show unexpectedly interesting!! Nice one. Good job!

Then we headed to Makansutra Glotton's bay @ Esplanade Bay. Hawker food but the environment was great just that the food price are relatively higher than outside. Mostly for tourists i guess.

Argh, yesterday and today just not my day!!

Was not happy with my bf. My mum said will cook dinner, i skipped church lesson went home, she said she didn't cook cos she was sienzzzz.. There was a flyer about a evangelistic event, then she started saying about how churches cheat believers' money regarding 20% pay offering (it's 10% by right and it's optional). Fine. Then when i was printing some devotional materials she said no. wth!! And she said the $250 which i'm giving to her monthly is NOTHING!! plus the 1/4 bangkok trip i'm paying for her. walau!!

Then she threatened me to move out of the house by one week time. Ok, fine, I was searching for accommodation online and asking for a partner. She started to say I'm moving in with bf and all. Get pregnant and give birth before married. kns.

After that she complained.. blah blah blah.. Grown up already, can fly already. then she cried!!!!!

Omg!! I was so shock can!!

After awhile I tired of all these and after my sis telling philosophies. I decided to apologise to my mum. I did and she nagged again. I seriously think she is experiencing menopause right now =.=

Well, we're fine right now. Mother and daughter no grudges.

My aunt came over to Singapore for few days stay to visit her eldest son. So, basically today i was like a maid accompanying them to chinatown. Oh man, the place is really chinatown. Haha.. Lots food and cheap stuff.

I was so pissed la, those stuff I bought from Watson and Guardian, all so much more expensive compare to the shop in chinatown. Well, I can't travel all the way down there to get some basic need stuff right? *consoling myself* I realized I have so many unused or unfinished bottles at home. Gonna use them up and get new ones soon =)

Haiz, 7-11 is now scattered all around the world and states. I really dun know who to find the next time I go back. I'll probably make another visit to hometown mid March before I start my hell working days.

Yeah, going camping on wed. xoxo.. Hopefully my mum allows over night stay. Kite flying on Sat. Oh ya, my mum met bf last night. It was so funny. My mum is another one that keeps teasing me about the height thing. ARGH!! .. She says next time if i get married with bf, she wanna buy chair as a wedding gift =.=

Starting work @ 20 April, the start of my hell life. Results coming out 16 March, horrible. And I'm stuck at home today. Sienzz.. Three weeks gone for now. 2 months more!! I must spend it wisely. Dear readers,

I'm so blur today. In my own world. My lalaland. My phlegm was so infected colour. Scary!! MRSA sputum already tsk.... Feeling so sick. Throw in panadol and vit C last night. Feel much better. I heard got people allegric to vit C?? Oh, how odd.

Let's talk about Xmas now.

This year Xmas was way better than last year. Last year was the worst Xmas ever. But it's ok, at least it served a purpose and I'm satisfied with what I have right now.

Went for movie - IP Man. Well, one of the good shows though it's a lil too violent.

That day I received letter from ICA (Immigration & Checkpoints Authority) regarding PR (Permanent Resident) application. Not so soon huh, must wait till I stable with job. Well, in few months time. So sien thinking the fact I've to work.

I'm here again! I'm granted 2 days off after those crazy days in the ward! Everday my uniform has new stain. Blur sotong indeed! Today preceptor not working, never take case. Maybe on Friday bah. So far taking 2 cases.. Waseh, the student from another institution took 5 cases. Salute her! It's her 5 weeks in the ward anyway. lol.

I'm going out tmr and Thurs!! YEah! I know I've been saying a lot of times. But I'm just too excited. Wahoo! Sakae and see the Xmas light up!! =) More picture awaiting.

Attachments indeed take most of my time away. Less time for God, for myself, for family, for friends, for boyfriend... I really need to find a balance. I can't stay in this stage forever. First is to adapt myself in the working environment. I wanna be that kind.. you know.. After morning shift still can go out till mid night or night shift can go out straight the next day. LOL!! By then my dark circle and eye bags gonna be horrible.

I want to have a new hair do! I like Dawn Yang's hairstyle. Perhaps get some perms.. Minimal perm. Last time that one over liao. If I dun like the outcome, get it done BOB!! HAHAHA.. I'll see how lah. Need long days off before I can do anything to my hair.

Yeah. It's Tues. Wed is coming soon. Meaning my day off coming!! I'm going out!! Finally gonna meet up with P.M.S. (Pauling, Meijiao, Sofina) XD And we gonna go for my fav Sakae.. Can't wait to hang out with those girls!

I checked my preceptor's roster. She is working on xmas day but off on eve. So i think there's not a need to request off on xmas since i off eve. I'll be doing night the week before xmas. Meaning - 3 nights, following by sleeping day, rest day, day off and rest day! Wohoo! 4 days off before xmas. Muacks! I love xmas. The season of love. How God love us so we can love each other :) I can't wait for the xmas light up! 1st Dec. Yeah. This xmas is not gonna be the same. Wad shud I get for xmas gift? Headache..

After 3 days of work, I'm rewarded 2 days off. Better than none. Man, so stressful. Irritating. Educated maid and clerk. lol. I wanna go out but no one is free. What is this? So I'm staying home today, slacking. No life no life. I wanna shopping, eat buffet, watch movies, travel.. So much of work. I wanna pamper myself. After this 3 months thing, I tell you, I gonna relax and just have fun to the fullest before I get stuck in working full time for the next 3 years.

Three days of orientation has come to an end. I'm off today and tomorrow which others work 8-4pm today and tmr. Only the ward I'm working has different schedule. lol. Seen my recent roster, I'm working 3 weekends continuously.. What is this!!

Have to request for off day on Sat, if not forever no need go church liao loh.. And Xmas day! This job is so pathetic. Working more, less rest day and less pay.

okok, self-fulfilling prophecy.

Night shifts coming.. We've to work 2 rounds of 3 days night shift. And know what? For those non-sponsored students, this 3 months attachment is not paid of, walau, FOC maid indeed!!

I've made up my mind to move out, I mean it. It will be next year April when I start work. Am finding good deal now. Apparently hostel is out. Finding hospital accom or maybe nearby flat. Rental is high but.. I think privacy and quality sleep is worth the price.

Now I dunno how am I survive my 3 months attachment with interrupted sleep at night. I dun want to kill patient accidentally just because of fatigueness. This job not suppose to make patient's condition worse.

It's 2am right now. I was waken up by my dearly mother. For goodness sake, didn't she know that I'm having attachment? Not everyone can slp till 1-2pm everyday k!!

I decided to MOVE OUT once I start working. I can't stand this. It's not the first time like this. Anyone with any "lobang"? I wanna have my own room with more privacy and more SPACE! Most importantly, I seriously need quality sleep. How do I nurse patients when I'm drowsy at work??!

I'm back again. Ended A&E posting. Well, what I could say about A&E is that, haha, it's not my cup of tea. But at least more stuff to do in A&E, no chance to juz standing. I guess I will get low grade for A&E, my superb Clinical Instructor! lol.

After one week in A&E, I granted one week break which ending like soon.. Tmr last day then I'm starting my 3 months attachment in SGH. So, the first 3 days busy with my OIPP presentation, fussy lecturer. Well, I feel so lousy as the rest speak so well. All top students with good grades. Stress man! All ended liao =) Praise God. On the presentation day itself, I was so nervous holding the mic and talk talk. lol. Apparently my future Clinical Instructors came that day also, they gonna have high expectation from me. Sienz.

Four days of actual break. It's so very too short! Slack also not enough. Occupied with church, campus crusade, family and boyfriend. Tmr maybe gonna revise abit. Well, I juz pray that my preceptor doesn't work in xmas day so I can have off day on xmas day!! The next 3 months gonna be real disaster, I'll be working in medical ward with 18 beded per cubical. OH my!! I heard the ward staffs are good. I pray they are!! lol.
Recently I started a 40 days devotional book named - Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. Today is day 6. I'm still seeking the purpose in life. I find it very beneficial that's why I'm sharing it here.

Message was basically saying God is the creator of our lives and we have to find our purpose in Him, as only the creator knows why He created us! And we're not accident in God's plan even we are in our parent's plan. We are in God's plan even before we were born. And we're uniquely created by Him, including our personality, physical appearance, background and all. This point makes me ponder abit where I always complain about my height and figure. HAHAHA.. :D

So I had done with my 5 days OT posting. It wasn't too bad as I mentioned in the end. Get to do more when I got on the "move". Get to scrub 2 cases. OT.. Well, a field that I always wanted to work in. After this 5 days, i realised this area is totally different from working in general ward, which I love it!! HAHAHHA.. No sponging and washing dentures! lol. Might consider. See how lah. Didn't get to see plastic surgery. Sad. Ah Jiao said she saw few handsome doctors!!!! Oh my, she never asked me go and see also. Naughty girl ;pp

3 days off before A&E posting. Thank God for Deepavali, I'm off today! Yohoo!!

Coma on the bed for so long after I reached home on Friday. Missed the outdoor Bible Study on Sat morning also. lol. Seriously attachment makes me no life! So, same, Sat church.

Sunday was dating day. I need something extraordinary! It's too bored to spend time in shopping center and on the street! My first time watching movie alone in the cinema. wow!

Butterfly lovers. I got nothing to do during the 2 hours when bf went for football. So just decided to watch this romance show since wu zun is so handsome. Some eye candy. Hahaha! Walao, on the saddest part of the show, some ppl keep laughing lah! Idiot. If you really like wu zun then go and catch it. Story wise.. Nothing new since u know they die in the end. lol.

I was in Kinokuniya reading this food guide. Makes me drooling can! Miss all Malaysia food.

Now I'm crazily in love with High School Musical!! Watched HSM3 last night. Today HSM2 on youtube. Love those songs and Vanessa is just too pretty with good figure. Love all the costumes. Bit stupid cos I didn't watch part 1 and 2. Must watch k! Vanessa and Zac are too sweet together!!

8 Oct - Cycling Marathon
My CCA campus crusade organized a casual outing, cycling outing. We cycled 42 km in total around entire PCN (park connector network). From East Coast, Changi Beach, Pasir Ris, Bedok, Tempanis then back to East Coast. From 10am till 7pm. All together 18 of us. Some fell down on the way. Poor thing. But praise God everyone is fine ;) And what? My butt really ached after that!! ;pp

11 Oct Mass Disaster
Location: SGH

Dragged myself early in the morning to hospital for this exercise. It's something to test the hospital how they react to ]when there is mass casualties when disaster happened. So I was one of the casualty with unconscious, head injury and fracture as conditions. Waseh.. I lied on the trolley for so long before anyone attended to me. I actually fell asleep lah!!

After decontaminate, I was pushed to A&E department. Get "intubated" and stuff. CT head. Then they pushed me to Neuro ICU cos of "my" head injury. Monitoring machines attached on my body and get "catheterized". They sent me to X-ray pulak!! Back to ICU. I was so bored!!

Hard to act unconscious though. I just played with my hp. Then they said not allow to play hp!! =.=

My first time in worship team that night. Tough though...!!

Back from BP update

I'm so bored at home!!! Listening to S.H.E. new songs and typing this post.

Was back from BP last night. Four days 3 nights trip. Rather short. Wanted to come back and have some time with bf, who knows he says he needs to work today and Thursday. Sienzzz.. Sigh, I need to learn to be independent, I can survive without him right right? Yeah. Of course I can, I can't survive without God and Oxygen! Nahz.

Basically I didn't meet much people back home. Everyone is gone lah. Left few cats and dogs back hometown. If you're wondering, my bf never went back with me. This boy couldn't find his passport last minute.

Well well, then he super emo, it supposed to be one day trip with him but without him I extended the trip. To made up, we went picnic on Thursday (2 Oct) before I went back hometown in Botanic Garden.

And know what? This guy lost his wallet. Thank God he found under the car seat that day itself. Sotong sotong!! But well, we had great time picnic-ing. The scenery there very nice ;)

Then we dismissed. I went Bugis to find some T-shirts for miss Soh Hui San. HAha.. It's not that hard to find though and I bought a dress. See la, Bugis too much temptations.

So on Friday I went back hometown, couldn't meet hui san, poon chuan and brian cos MMU final period now. I suggested to have a girls talk at one's house. Obviously we ended up going ah duan's house. Three women one pasar. How about five? Disaster!! Well, we had good talk.

Wanted to accompany Sista buy a bike for her son but who knows the shop was closed. So we went Summit. Really boring sey.. Nothing to do. So we decided to catch a movie. Well, Eagle Eye was the one and only available. Quite cool and exciting. I wanna watch more show!! hoho..

Hospital Days in Northumberland

Attachment Days!!

Wow.. How am I going to update one month here? I think I'll update according the places I've been. I'm sure no one is interested in what happened in hospital right? Though I had good experience working in hospital. Well, let's start with hospital and Northumberland ward =)

It's the square look building, nothing special indeed if u look from far. Haha..

There're so much different in healthcare system!

UK healthcare is free whereas SG is not. U wait.
Ward manager cleanse the bed and give bed pan whereas SG not.
Five to Six patients for a SN, think of sg, 16 for C class?
The pay is obviously different. POUNDS!!
Seven days of self-certified sick leave and 2 weeks annual leave. Sg? All u need is MC to prove u're sick. What if I just dun feel like working that day? Bleuk ;p
Nominate self to get promoted in UK. sg, it takes forever to get promoted.
There is a in-charged for all pts for the shift and she/he will follow doctors' round, make changes and all.
Overall handover and individual patient's handover. Sg only one time..
Multi-discipline, all equal. Nurses, doctors, dietitians, PTs, OTs... All like friends. Every week there is multi-disciplinary meeting discuss over pt's plan. Nurses have a say.
Every student has own mentor and assessor. So 2 trained staff looking after you and a link lecturer from uni. So u only work with mentors. Walao, since when sg got? so many staffs, u dun even know who is who.

I'm so blessed! Rmb I was complaining of homesick for the first 3 days. As soon as I started my attachment and met those wonderful people in the ward, it reduced my homesick. They're really nice people. Surprisingly, all the Philippino run a ward in London. Cool right? Of course they're ang mo working in the ward as well. but I was so amazed that Philippinos are everywhere! Lol.

Apparently I've got 2 mentors, Rosie and Ronnie. They're not brother and sister if you wonder. Just nickname. Ronnie's full name is Ronaldo Reyes. Ya, everyone teases his name! Haha.. Very nice people!! I'll tell more stories on later posts.

Students are allowed to do everything under the sun here! I gave S/C injection everyday, obviously serve meds everyday, went OT to watch esophagectomy (6 hours in OT, stupid cold) and small OT for esophageal stent insertion, write reports everyday, gave IM injection on the butt, prepare IV meds and fluid, flush whatever tube pt has.. I did all sorts of thing that not allowed or perhaps no chance to do in sg till i graduate.

I dun mind working there one day after i clear my bond. em.. if only my family is there. sigh.. but i dun even know will i continue nursing after 3 years. lol.

First Day in SG

I know you guys have been waiting for pic and more post on LONDON. hahaha.. Wait lah, be patient, i need to tidy up my pic. i'm thinking of going back on thurs with bf for a day trip and meeting you guys. does that sound silly? I dun know, not confirm yet.

Mamma Mia yesterday!! WOhooo. I'm craving for more movie and sushi. It was a good good movie though. 10/10! Best of all. Go and watch it all of you! I wanted to watch a play in london but it's juz too expensive. 30 over pounds. Crazy. So ended up with movie. Not too bad!

Met up Vanesh. Em.. She is from south africa. working in london for almost 6 years. just nice she and her husband had vacation in sg, well, F1 fans. haha.. Brought them to chinatown for local food as dinner. Guess what? Chicken rice and ice kacang. Wanted to show them frog porridge. But they only eat chicken and sea food. No pic on food, all of you know how chicken rice and ice kacang look like right? Lol.

I still suffer from jet lag and i could go out yesterday. amazing. London is 7 hours behind. well, i slept till 3pm today. Mad! Awake from coma. hahaha.. more to come babies! relak!! :p

Back From London

Hie people, finally I'm back. I'm so addicted to internet. Ever experience a month without regular internet? I've been through that. Well, it won't kill, just half dead.

Talking about what happened on Sunday. Walao!! Too much excitement early in the morning. So our flight from Heathrow to Bangkok was 12.30pm and we're supposed to reach airport 3 hours before hand which was 9.30am. Samantha and I thought we were gonna take tube (train) from hospital to airport. Wow, thank God Ronnie (my mentor) called in time and said he sent us. Em.. apparently he said he could only sent us to the nearest Piccadilly line but when we met he said: let's go Heathrow!! Yeah! I couldn't imagine how are we gonna to push the huge luggage in tube. Thanks Ron though u won't see this.

We reached there 8.30am.. Waited forever to board. 12 hours flight to Bangkok. I hardly slept on the plane. When we were at the counter to collect another boarding pass, I thought I heard wrongly. Some airport man told: THE FLIGHT WAS CANCELED. I beg u pardon. Well, thank God after some adrenaline shock and exercise, we got tickets from SIA fly to SG for FREE! Haha.. The counter was almost closing. Thx God we're in time.

Shoiyk sey. No wonder 2k over 3k to fly to London on SIA. Economic has own tv and seats vider, food better, air stewardess prettier. Lol. By the time I waited at the belt to collect my luggage. They said my luggage was on another plane which coming 2pm =.= wth. I reported myself at lost and found corner. The first time in my life went to buy alcohol for my mom, dun even know what the stupid name. Well, 200 over bucks. Apparently I was the last one out from the departure hall. Everything screwed up.

Why is it after one month, the first meeting wasn't that excited? It's just normal. I dun know. I just miss that hug. What am I thinking. I dun know. Is it because I too used to on my own for the entire month? I dun know. I need some excitement!! Lol.

The forth day here in London. I feel sick looking at London eye. Lol. I just wanna GO BACK HOME!! We're not gonna travel around Europe anymore but changing flight back straight after 4 weeks of attachment here.

These few days had been walking lots just to find a pot or smth to cook. Finally we bought our wok yesterday and I managed to eat maggie mee. Lol. Even a packet of maggie mee also hard to get here.

I've no idea how frequent I'll be online after I start work later on.

Hie people, I'm settled down in London yesterday but sadly there's no internet in the place I stay. Have been crying cause of this the whole day. Lol. Thank God there's Mac some distance away from where we stay. I'm not sure how are we going to online when we start working. Well, God has a plan. Now when I got internet, I realized I brought web cam without CD to install and earpieces without mic. How am I going to see and talk to bf? Can't stand the sotong-ness of myself!! Sigh!

The process of getting a prepaid card was so funny. British people just like to make things complicated when it can be done easily.

Smelly hostel. Ok lah, the bed is soft and nice to sleep. I brought over my Pooh Pooh and bf's shirt. Hahahaha!! ;pp Had a good rest last night for me to walk so much today. I had much privacy cause I've my own room! ;) but no internet. SIen..

I'll be starting work on Monday.

London's scenery is nice. But I really feel like crying even I could see London eye from my room. I miss my love ones back at home!!! Dun wanna study or work overseas alone next time already. I need a pot and pail! No pot how to cook? No pail how to watch clothes? London all sell sandwiches and burgers only! Lol!!

Talking about the weather. Stupid autumn with hot sun!! Hahaha.. I can just wear shorts and sleeveless top go out! Stupid me bring all those jackets. Well, hopefully end of next month will be colder so I could use my gloves, shawls and winter wear! ;pp

Post Exam Syndrome

Dear bloggy,

I'm back to feed you with some "food".. Ohhooo..

The last time I blogged was before my 3 continuous exams. Thx God for pulling me through the insane 3 days. I rarely had enough sleep.. Those who saw me that particular week could tell how pale and sick I looked. Lol.. Well, I didn't do well this time. I really need you guys to pray together with me for passing all the modules :)

After exams, well, as usual, my days were packed. Dunno why leh, everytime after exams I'll be busier as in go out also everyday! I'm really BUSY!! Lol.. This time round I've more stuff to complete. Very sien..

Time flies.. I'll be flying to London tmr, the flight details I already posted up. Well, it's just 6 weeks. Blink blink then I'll be back doing another attachment. I'm abit moody these few days. It's to the extend that I sit on bus looking outside through the window, and my tears just wet my cheeks. I have no idea why! Perhaps due to the weather? PMS? Perhaps.

I just dun have changes, dun like stepping out of my comfort zone.. I hate that in fact. But that's parts and parcels of life. You can't always stay in your small little circle.

Now only I know it's not fun to go overseas. NOT FUN at all.. I very sien..

As usual, after final, I did spring cleaning for pauling's area. Well, you know students tend to have "exam-madness-syndrome" where books and notes pile up macam a mountain. Hahaha..

When I was tidying up, I had surprises! It's always when spring cleaning you starts to realise: Hey, since when I have this thing.. Oh, you're here! Been searching you for so long. Lol~ That kind of thing.

So this was how my love looked like today!! Cute right? He is super duper cute lah. Shy shy like that and I just love to "kacau" him! Wahaha.. He seems to prefer guys than gals. So young know to stay purity alr. HAhaha.. Good boy!

Today sermon talked about serving. Guess God has something to tell me personally. So I'm joining music ministry when I come back from London. Yeah!! I pray I won't make the team lousy ;pp Thank God for calling.

Less than 2 weeks time and I'll be leaving. Though it's only 6 weeks, I'm gonna miss family, church, friends and boyfriend much!! Do pray for me for the life there. Perhaps to join a church over there! Wonder how their service like. Gee!!

So eager to know the table tennis results larh. Singapore VS China! First gold or silver? Let's be patient and wait tmr 7.30pm!!

First Song Lead and Two Months Anniversary

Yesterday was a quite eventful day for miss pau. As the title has mentioned. Dun know why I'm here to blog. I have lots and loads notes haven't touched neh. Nah, relak!!

Thank God for pulling us through the two months relationship. Nah, it's never a bed of roses. At times there were arguments and a little anger. However, in Christ love, we managed to talk openly and solved them peacefully. Indeed, communication plays an essential role in relationship with people. Thank God for the ability to speak and think =)

In the midst of exams and exams, we didn't have much special celebration for two months but a normal eating out --- Sakae Buffet !! That guy really could whack sey, both of us finished $60++ worth food. Ish, we didn't know buffet included a red plate each, till the end when we couldn't take anymore then they told. Lol.. I had fun time spent eating and laughing ;pp

Uh huh, so after we dismissed. I went church for fellowship and cell group Bible study. My first song lead sey. Stupid me go and choose a new song. But thank God for fast loading youtube :pp It was in a mess I think. But am sure that Daddy was pleased for whatever effort I tried for Him.

Serving is not give what you're capable in but sometimes God challenge to serve in a totally strange area. I thank God for calling. And I just received a msg from church leader asking me to join worship team!! Wohoo.. =D Am more than happy to serve the Lord I love, but since I'm leaving soon, so I told him say I join them after I come back. I've no idea how it'd end up like, apparently I'm the youngest in this fellowship. hahaha..

Hie people. It's miss Pauling again!

Finally my sub-group has cleared all the projects, assignments, presentations and reports!! Wohhoo.. *Clap clap* Thank God pulled us through the entire process. We were so productive that we produced the FYP report in less than 2 hours time and we all did module evaluation. So happy! Now is the time to study for the grand finale - final exams!

Before that, I shall update about my DHL balloon trip. Well, I got so many stuff to update but I got not enough time and no mood lah.. Pardon me!

So it was after school and I was rushing through my ICA presentation. Was told that the Balloon is gonna closed real soon, so I quickly msg sista for a trip down since we had 2 free tickets :)

It was evening and the Sun looked like an egg yolk. High in cholesterol.

So before we went for dinner, I actually bought a pair of attachment black shoes. Then we went to eat, I put the paper bag just beside me and we started eating. After that, we paid, shopped around and headed to DHL Balloon there which is just behind Parco Bugis Junction. We redeemed the tickets, got a drink, sitting down relaxed waiting our turn.

Guess what?
My sis: "Girl, where is your shoes?"
Me: "What shoes? I'm wearing my slippers ah..." =.= [Confused]
My sis: "Your black shoes! We just bought!!"
Me: "Oh ya huh!! I forgot!! Must be left at Ajisen there!" [Smack forhead]

Then she found out the receipt and called the Ajisen people. Oh my, can you imagine how forgetful am I?? Next time I surely forget my kid as well. Sigh~

I'm so happy today. I passed my skill assessment! No more Jenny this time! After two episodes of failing. Miss pauling passed! So happy can. The assessor was super damn nice, and I got ETT suctioning. Cross finger, no assisting in intubation. Wohoo.. I thank God! XD

As the tittle says. I went for a ballet performance show with my sista & bf and her frens & bfs. Well, I went there on my own. Where I didn't know where the heck is Fort Canning Park. Was walking blindly from Dhoby Ghaut mrt to YMCA then SMU then Museum. I thank God I asked the right person and she directed me to the right track. If not I might just sit there and cry. haha..

So, I actually passed by National Museum before I reached the park. I was looking the building in awe sey! So nice!! Never been to Museum before the entire 2 years I have been here!! Well, pic speaks thousand words..

Really, one day, I wanna go visit there again!! Not to pass by but really go in and enjoy those art pieces!! I hope I dun fall asleep.. Opps.!

So I walked and turned here & there according to what the lady told me. And I found my destination!! Fort Canning Park. I was quite pek cek alr. But I was so proud of myself that I found the way. Wahaha... I'm not that sotong k!

Met sista after some time. So I just enjoyed taking pic around..

Ticket was $31 per adult in conjunction with Singapore Dance Theater 20th Anniversary which is miss pauling's bday too. Wahaha.. Everybody sang bday song macam only for me like that *think too much*

Everyone brought their own stuff to picnic. Cos it's ballet under the starts! held under open air in park. The idea was quite cool. I was just wondering what if it rains? I actually brought camera with flat battery that day. My poor phone camera can't zoom properly to take some of the performance. Well, overall it was not bad but I'm not that kinda artistic person. Maybe Xuan Xuan you wanna go? Haha.. Half way almost fell asleep.. =p

After that followed they all went for a drink and listened all those old-adult's topics - housing, job, gossips.. Eh hehe!

That's all about my last Saturday. Well, DHL balloon, Ballet under the Stars, watch, pouch and ect all under a package from my sista as bday present. Wohoo!! And she helped my pay the school fee for this sem cos I broke mah. Praise the Lord. Haha.. But the rest money need to loan from her. It's ok. God provides babe! *hugs*

I had been receiving birthday greetings few weeks way before my actual birthday.. Thanks so much to you guys who not sure or suddenly remembered or really remembered my birthday. It's really sweet of a simple msg or even a friendster comment. I was so overwhelming with all the L.O.V.E! Special hugs for those stay up 12 midnight to call or send me msg, you know who you're lah huh, all my darlings!!

Dine out with cell members.. I was so dumbed can, should have realised ealier that they wanted celeb birthday for me.. I thought how come they suddenly said go out eat dinner. Lol!

5 of us went to eat Geylang frog porridge and durian + mangosteen!! Indeed Geylang has all kind of good food with "chicken" as extra dish.. Hoho.. I had my once in life cake. Shh.. Photos coming but not with me. So, be patient my dear readers!

So my day was started right with Daddy who pulled me thru all the past 19 years, I cant imagine how my life would be without Him!! Had short time worship and praying with Crusaders.

4 hours of rushing here and there.. School ended @ 1pm.. After lunch, something happened!! Oh ya, I just knew that Justyn's birthday is 25 July too!! Hoho.. *wink MJ wink*

By right we meeting 2pm for project discussion.. Sofina and MJ leaded me to level 4 instead.. These 2 girls talked softly and laughed damn loud. I wasn't allowed to hear the communication! =(

Dismissed and I headed to YCK mrt meeting Silas. It had been a week since we last had a proper meeting and after that crisis period!! Wohoo.. Thank God his dad discharged & resting well. Everyone was like asking me what surprise he gonna give me, well, learn from me (10 years series answer), hoho.. As long as the person is right, what surprise or what program doesn't really matter!! XD

We just went out for a dinner and movie then back home.. That's all! Simple yet sweet.

I was informed that we're provided accommodation just inside St. Thomas Hospital. Few steps away from ward. Wohoo!! God provides. But we already booked 2 places which are both outside hospital compound. Whatever. As long as we dun have to stay on the streets.

Emo VS Stupiak

Hey people, it has been so long since my last post. Exactly 2 weeks.

School and ICA just drive me nuts. Lots and lots coming in. 4 more ICAs to go, 1 skill + 4 exams. Oh my, this is so insane. Will i survive to the end? Final year project is another headache. I'd not enough sleep for the last 2 weeks. As a result, acne outbreak again. I need to conceal them!!

Moreover, my hair is in a mess everyday, I urgently need rebonding as proper treatment for it. The prob is that i couldn't find any time to go back hometown, rebond here is way too expensive. Well, i'll make my way back to cure my hair before i move butt to London. Don't want to take pic with my stupiak hair!! HAha..

Too much commitment stress me down!!

That day sista counted say what i gave family ($250) is way not enough to cover wat i spent @ home. All the dinners, electricity & water, shampoos and stuff.. Well, my allowance isn't that much to give more. Furthermore i'm going overseas. Already spent all my savings since year 1. I dun think enough to cover my expenses over there. I think need to eat maggie mee everyday larh. Dun wanna get money from family. XIanzz.. It's not easy to be financially independent since the age of 18. I really pray for hospital sponsor me as much as they could. All because of this trip I sacrifices so much!

I just wished to graduate asap and finish up my 3 years bond. I dun know what future holds. How i wished the day of Christ comes is just tomorrow.. Then we dun have to suffer. There will be no tears in Heaven. No more sadness and all..

Silas's parents are both sick lately. One going thru radiotherapy and the other one admitted hospital for biopsy. It has been tough for him to take care of parents, having tests and church + campus crusade commitments at the same time. But i'm not any better. Dun like those pm syndrome! "Love is patient, love is kind. Love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love never gives up and its faith, hope and patience never fail." Patience repeated twice in these verses, indeed, we need to be patient to love someone or being love by someone.. It's not easy though.

Sometimes I will think what is the reason to get together or married? I was told two is better than one, when one is spiritually down, another could offer help. What if the other one get upset? Well, we need to pray hard for wisdom and patience from God. Only He is perfect!

"Every test that you have experienced is the kind that normally comes to people. But God keeps his promise, and He will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm: at the time you are put to test, he will five you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out" 1 Cor 10:13

That night Caren was sharing her troubles as we exchanged. I pray hard for her. Pray that she knows what she is doing and pray all that is pleases in God's eyes. As sometimes we know we are not supposed to do something, but emotion drives us to do it. Then we regret in the end and repent before God..

Just came back from airport sending Yivon and Candice off. Met Elsa and Leonard who were going Aus too! Seemed like lots ppl leaving today. Sad sad see them crying. Well, it's just a year. I hope this little cry baby (me larh) wont cry when leaving for UK.

My baby came along too. He studies so hard for test then made his way down to Changi. Apparently he lives in woodlands.. Hoho.. So Yivon is the first one in 7-11 that managed to see him. Haaha.. Well, any comment welcome to ask her :p

Had nice talking and catching up with Yivon and prayed for Candice before she left. I seriously dun know who to find when I go back BP next time larh. One by one leaving hometown. I miss the Indian Chendolin BP!! Uh huh, Ice Kacang with strawberry was nice =)

On the Thursday, Mei Jiao, Sofina, Xiao Yang and I went to have buffet steamboat together. Yes, steamboat again!! Haha.. The first time we ate steamboat till the soup "chao ta". Apparently it was the porridge soup. Cuz we never stirred the porridge, so the rice all sinked at the bottom, as a result, a "chao ta" aroma produced!! We didn't realise till the lady came and off the gas. Hoho..

Here's the "chao ta" part! ;p

On the Friday, We went for a movie after lessons. Guess what? "It's a boy girl thing"
Another romance comedy. Oh well, why all the male lead actor so handsome one huh? And all of them have nice figure. Hoho.. =D I love the part where Saimaire Armstrong behave like a boy in that show. Super funny can! If I'm not wrong, this movie was up in western countries quite some time ago, dun know Singapore so late.

Later on gonna go airport send Yivon and Candice off. Well, I'll be alone. I wish I could go Australia to further my studies too but no $$ sey. We'll see how's God's plan.

Looking at this page. My mind was blank.. Abit moody and emotional since last night. Well, I guess it's just temporarily. Shud be fine soon.

School days are still the same. Overwhelming information, lack of time to understand, too much "fishing". Recently my heart is just not with the books. Why oh why? Where is the heart to learn has been? I could just fall asleep looking at the same page *tsk tsk*

Next next week onwards gonna be super hectic weeks ever. I wonder how many acnes would grow on my face. Lolz.. Lots things coming yet I seem so unprepared. Too fast, next month I'll be flying to a place I have never been, another part of the Earth where there is four seasons. All the people around me think it's a precious privilege but I dun feel it. They just don't understand how much I actually suffered cuz of this attachment. Well, this is something I wanted so much yet I wish the date never come. How foolish I am.

Men will fail but not God. Indeed we should not and never rely on shaky men cuz men are imperfect, only Someone who is perfect worth us to really rely on as He holds our future. No one knows what lies ahead for us but God. Everyday is present for Him.

So why do we afraid of our future and when to leave this world when God already had planned for us? How foolish of us with little faith, even a small mustard seed has faith, but we as human lack of faith in God. I need to surrender completely.

Uh huh, another post for today. Just now went out for a "plane" date :p

2 planes kissed..

Well, I had no idea where we'd be going cos he was gonna drive today. So we went the other side of Changi airport where we could see the planes and enjoy the sound produced by plane's engine! That's so cool! And he really knows about the planes stuff. I pray his dream comes true to be a pilot!! Well, if it's God's will.

Then we "tapao" food from Changi Village and it rained. Out of no where, we decided to go airport again!! This time was not Changi airport but budget terminal. Lol.

I got some touch to auto car today. It was scary yet fun. I wonder how I got my lisense!!

Crazy school gonna start all over again. Just dun like the time need to separate.. Nvm, we're just a sms/call away. Video call is so fun!!

Port Dickson! Awesommeee..

Oh dear, it has been almost 3 weeks since I last updated. I was just so occupied with stuff.

Actually lots to say when looking back what happened. I truly thank God, without Him, my life wouldn't be that wonderful. I wouldn't say my life is a bed of roses, but I know I have Him to rely on when I'm weak and in troubles. Yay!

Now school has just started one week. Everything goes back to its old rhythm. Fast and crazy pace. 5 graded presentations waiting for me, final year project, skill assessment again!! LSCN, can I do intubation? Lolx. I thought that's what doctor does? Why do we need to pass? *blek*

Well, looking at my target for 2008 since half a year is gone. Guess what? (Refer to the left column "Happy 2008") I've fulfilled almost everything! Mmm.. except the first one larh, must work harder to study Bible.. "Saturday" school starts next week. That's so cool can! It's actually a bible course larh. Though I'll be leaving 28 Aug, just join and learn first.

So much commitments.. Then life is fruitful!! For everyday is a bonus and gift from God!

As planned, after school some of us headed to Changi Beach. Before that, we went "makan", actually just anyhow grabbed food along the way to take MRT. Well, the journey was so longgg..
Nah, worth it in the end becos the place is simply truly awesome! Beautiful! God is so magnificent. He created such serene place in S'pore! *Yay* The planes were just above your head. I seriously lost count cos there were plenty of planes from all over the world!

I wished I could stay here forever..
